Job Summary/Basic Function:

To serve as a physician in an Academic General OB/Gyn Division. Duties will include clinical care, research and training both residents and medical students.

Minimum Qualifications

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE OR CERTIFICATES:
1. M.D. or D.O. degree; 2. Able to obtain an unrestricted Medical License and practice in Ohio; 3. DEA Registration Number; 4. Instructor: American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology candidate; Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor: American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology certified.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Instructor: Completed 4-year residency in OB/Gyn and board eligible;
Assistant Professor: Completed 4-year residency in OB/GYN, 2-5 years of experience in an academic environment and 2-5 years clinical experience;
Associate Professor: Completed 4-year residency in OB/GYN, 6-10 years of experience in an academic environment and 6-10 years clinical experience;
Professor: Completed 4-year residency in OB/Gyn, more than 10 years of experience in an academic environment and more than 10 years clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Proven research productivity or ability to obtain external funding.
2. Candidate possesses interest and ability in clinical and classroom education

Essential Functions and percent of time:

20%-Participation in teaching activities with Medical Students and Residents;
50%-Day/night/weekend In-House clinical teaching coverage of Residency Program (including labor & delivery) and Five Rivers Health Center Clinic coverage;
10%-Development and/or participation in clinical and/or bench research;
20%-Participation in private practice activities

Day/night/weekend In-House clinical teaching coverage of Residency Program and Five Rivers Health Center Clinic coverage required.
