|Job Summary/Basic Function:||
Responsible to leading software development and architecture for AFRL RPA (Remotely Piloted Aircraft) autonomous systems. Perform C#/C++ and .NET programming on projects related to the UAV/RPA ground control stations and associated simulation capabilities. Additionally will support the configuration control and maintenance of the MTEC computer and software systems.
M.S. in Computer Science and 10 years of related experience.
|Essential Functions and percent of time:||
20%- Lead developer for C#/C++ and .NET programming on projects related to RPA ground control stations and associated simulation capabilities. Provide support and guidance to software development team.
20% – Perform software development efforts for RPA autonomous algorithms.
20%Develop program plans and lead team development efforts for the above projects
20% Prepare the software user manuals and prepare and present project status reports
20% – Configure & maintain the Vigilant Spirit – Mobile Test & Evaluation Center (VS-MTEC} computer and software systems.

Special Contract terms and conditions of employment apply. Length of contract is one year, renewable, contingent upon funding.
