Job Summary/Basic Function:

The Research Coordinator is responsible to provide day-to-day support for the Scholarship in Medicine requirement and coordinate the student research interest group, including management of the medical student research website and database.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in science, public health, or related field and 3 years related experience. Experience using qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using SPSS or SAS statistical software.

Essential Functions and percent of time:

50%— Provide day-to-day support for the Scholarship in Medicine requirement for BSOM students, including review of student completion reports and assisting in review of student research proposals.

50%— Coordinate the student research interest group, including annual research symposiums and management of the medical student research website and database to provide students with access to research mentors and projects.
